Triple Byzantine Bracelet

$225.00

I made every link and I even weld each one closed as I work. This makes my chains smooth to the touch and durable beyond compare. Plus they don’t catch on hairs.

You can weave Byzantine into rows of Byzantine! For this one I use both 18 gauge and 16 gauge Stainless Steel and make the 18 gauge links slightly larger in diameter than the 16 gauge ones - I know, counter-intuitive. The reason being, this pattern has a tendency to get uneven bulged out edges because of how the center row pushes the outer rows every other full repetition. So, using a smaller ring from a larger wire for the parallel links on the outer rows gives the pattern enough room to weave the center row of Byzantine cages through the offset outer rows while maintaining a nice crisp looking edge. As a bonus, this keeps the tightness of the whole piece perfectly dense yet flexible. In other words, I’m having fun!
