GSG Necklace
I made this necklace from a pattern called GSG. It’s somewhat flat but not too wide. This pattern is marvelously flexible and comfortable to wear. I made this necklace from scratch. I started with raw 18 gauge Stainless Steel wire that I wrapped around a rod before hand cutting into circles. Next I assemble the circles one by one using two pairs of pliers and a welder to weld each link closed as I build the chain. This process makes for a necklace that’s super smooth to the touch, that won’t catch on hairs like non-welded Chainmaille can, and that will last a lifetime no matter how hard on jewelry the wearer is.
